What a fantastic start to our 2026 competition season! ✨
Our dancers absolutely smashed their routines and showcased all the hard work, dedication and commitment they’ve put in throughout class. We couldn’t be prouder of what they brought to the stage and the confidence they showed on the floor.
Beyond the results, we’re most proud of the team they’ve become—positive, supportive, hardworking and always encouraging one another. Their energy, teamwork and love of dance shone through in every performance.
A huge thank you to our choreographers, Pooja, Amelie and Hannah, for continually delivering outstanding routines and for being there to support and encourage our dancers today. Your passion, creativity and dedication make such a difference, and we are incredibly grateful for everything you do.
A special thank you also goes to our amazing dance parents. Thank you for supporting these girls, for your endless encouragement, love and positivity, and for being there to cheer them on before and after every routine. Thank you for sharing in the excitement, the laughs, the fun, and helping create such a positive environment for our dancers to thrive.
What a wonderful start to the season—we can’t wait to see what the rest of 2026 brings!!

AASCF National Championships 2024
Melbourne Dance Theatre proudly celebrated outstanding results at the AASCF National Competition, showcasing the dedication, growth, and teamwork of our dancers on a national stage.
• Golden All Stars Pom – 2nd Place nationally out of 15 teams
• Golden Dynamites Lyrical – 5th Place in a strong section of 15
• Golden Dynamites Pom – 5th Place out of 13 teams
• Golden All Stars Jazz – 4th Place nationally out of 12 teams
Each routine reflected exceptional commitment, resilience, and continuous improvement throughout the year. From powerful performances to emotional maturity and technical growth, our dancers left everything on the floor and represented MDT with pride.
We are incredibly grateful to our choreographers and coaches for their passion, support, and dedication in pushing our teams to strive for their very best.

We know she will amazing on this next little adventure which could be 6 weeks or 6 months. We are so proud of your resilience, hard work and determination always. ✨💛
@hayleyykeating will be joining Disney Shanghai.
We have some exciting news to share we are so excited to announce that past student @hayleyykeating will be joining Disney Shanghai.
It was only a matter of time before this girl was on an international contract passionate, talented and hardworking. Watching you on your dance journey through the studio and now to see you take on this next chapter we couldn’t be any prouder of you. The start of an amazing career 💛✨
Here’s to an amazing and safe contract we love you lots and your MDT Fam will be cheering you on and supporting you all the way 💛✨
