JOSEPHINE MAGLIOLO

 

Josephine Magliolo has had more than 20 years dance experience in a number of styles including ballet, jazz, tap, street tap, hip hop & contemporary. After training as a young adult, Josephine then progressed to full time which only confirmed her love of contemporary.

 

Her passion and dedication for the genre is now driving her toward the formation of her very own contemporary company. In 2014 Josephine decided to create her own show More to C with the Melbourne Fringe festival which lead to her directing and choreographing the entire show with 25 dancers. The same year Josephine also choreographed ' Broadway Stitched Up for Slams Theatre Company. Josephine has completed her Certificate IV in Dance Teaching and Management, which has allowed her to grow as a professional choreographer, teacher and manager in the dance industry.

This has lead Josephine to be apart of Masters of Choreography several times as a well known Artist and Choreographer.  Josephine recently created a piece for RAW Melbourne Artist which has open up other States to perform to in the near future.

 

2017 finished with Josephine choreographing a 30 minute contemporary piece for Kelly Aykers Full Time Dance end of year showcase who she also has a honour teaching for with other schools in, around and out of Melbourne.
